The 15th Compact-Sporting World Championship took place in Italy on the 23rd-26th of August 2018. The competition were ongoing for four days, during which the shooters had to hit 200 clay targets.
The winner of the 15th Compac-Sporting World Championship 2018, based in Rio Salso di Tavullia, was a shooter from France, Zeude Matthjeu. Behind him Miles Gebben (USA), Camporese Cristian (ITA ) and Gasparini Davide (ITA). In total, 669 participants from around the world competed for the right to become the world champion in 2018.
Three shooters from Ukraine managed to receive Ukrainian most prestigious sport achievement with “MSMK”, which requires the result of 185 hit targets out of 200 possible at international level competitions.
Maksym Demchyshen managed to successfully hit 185 clay targets and became the youngest shooter in Ukraine, which managed to comply with the “MSMK” standard.
Sergiy Kryzhanovskiy completed the competition with the result of 190 hit targets, and thus showed the highest result of the championship among shooters from Ukraine, and also received the ‘MSMK’ title.

Oleg Makodzeba became the third athlete who managed to get the title of “MSMK” and successfully completed the competition with the result of 186 hit targets out of a possible 200.
